1. How we use cookies

Kervan uses only a small number of first-party cookies that the site and console need to work. We don't use advertising, retargeting or third-party tracking cookies.

2. Cookies we use

• kv_sess (strictly necessary): keeps you signed in. Encrypted and signed, and not readable by JavaScript (HttpOnly). Lasts up to 30 days or until you sign out.
• kv_2fa (strictly necessary): temporarily holds your sign-in step during two-factor authentication. Encrypted, HttpOnly. Lasts 5 minutes.
• kv_locale (functional): remembers your language. Lasts 1 year.
• kv_tz (functional): stores your browser's time zone; used to show times correctly and to enforce regional restrictions. Lasts 1 year.

3. Browser storage

Your light/dark theme choice is not a cookie. It is kept only in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and is not sent to our servers.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies you won't be able to sign in; if you block functional cookies, your language and time zone won't be remembered.
